I have never been tagged for something before, so when I saw that Rainflower8 had tagged me for the Sunshine blogger award, I was excited. I even told my family at dinner time, announcing it as ‘big news.’ That just shows my weirdness and excitement.
And for that I greatly thank her. Everyone, head over to her awesome blog and follow it. I’m finally going to answer her questions from the Sunshine Blogger Award and RainFlower8’s questions.

- Who was my first doll and do I recommend her?
The thing is, I first had a really junky second-hand Kit doll that my Oma gave me when I was 7. She had cut hair and wasn’t the best. Fast forward 2 years and my parents gave me a new Kit doll. So I had a really nice Kit and an old Kit that my sister and I dubbed Robert. He was the annoying neighbour boy when we played. Then when I was 10, I made the decision to sell her for 50$. Now the old Kit is living it up someplace while Kit is currently laying at the bottom of the pile of dolls.
But yes, I do recommend her and she is an awesome doll.
2. Do you have any advice for new bloggers
My advice to them is probably don’t give up. I have 17 followers, but that is 17 more than I had last year. If I gave up then I might only have had 2.
Also, I’d say comment nice things on other blogs. And, reply to all the comments you get. I always reply to comments people write because I love to tell them how sweet they are and how much that comment meant to me. And who doesn’t like it when bloggers take time to reply to their questions and other kind things.
3. What year and date did you start your blog?
*Heads over to my super cringy posts*
May 3, 2017, on my blogger.com blog. That was my original blog before I started this one. The thing is, I have some followers on my other blog, so I just copy and paste these posts and put it on the other blog. It doesn’t take that much time.
4. Where is your dream vacation spot?
I’d probably say my cousin’s house in Ontario. They are so much fun! One is 7 months older and the other is a year younger. My sister and I get along with them so well.
They have a pond where you can swim, a cool forest for make-belief, an old barn with a hayloft, and a zip line over the pond. I have made the best memories there.
Including my cousin (Abby) and I locking Gemma and my other cousin (Tyss, I can’t spell her name or her nickname XD) in the barn. They ended up climbing out of the loft using an old boat ladder that is about 4 feet. They ended up jumping the last 3 and a half feet.
5. How do you usually plan your blog posts?
I usually brainstorm. That involves biking to the park for a good swing or sitting out under our tree. But now there are bees all over it so I usually end up biking.
Once I have come up with some ideas, I will plan it all out on a calendar. I’m super organized so I have planned all the way up to October.
After checking my calendar my wallpaper that I change every month then I’ll normally write the post ahead of time. When the post about bananas is finished and perfected, I’ll schedule it for the set date. Then I don’t have to hurriedly finish it in the early hours of the morning. Though that still happens from time to time.
6. What are your favourite posts to read?
I love reading book-related posts or posts from a doll’s point of view. I have a shield that I keep in my room for the attacking of book snippets. So far I’ve only collected a few battle scars. (I may have a bit too much imagination.)
I love finding out about the crazy things doll’s do. That includes Del’s Demolition of various places and/or things, or Lily’s Blog.
7. Do you have any pets?
Well, we did.
Gemma and I had gerbils. Mine was named Honey and Gemma’s was Prince. They were cool and all, but we wouldn’t even hold them. We were scared they would bite us.
Then we had a male Beta fish named Sparkles. Until he expired.
8. What type of music do you listen to?
I call it Christian rock and pop, but my friend doesn’t think there is such a thing.
But anyway, I normally listen to the Christian radio station we have. My favourite artists are Hollyn, TobyMac, for King and Country, MercyMe, and I like some of the songs by Hawk Nelson. Any type of Christian music really.
9. What made you want to start a blog?
Probably the fact that I’m not allowed any social media except YouTube. I wanted a place to express myself in writing and where I could put all my photography.
So I started this blog and it’s grown ever since.
10. What is your biggest tip for photography?
I would say learn to shoot manual if you have a Nikon or Canon. It really helps me because I have control over the lighting, shutter speed and all that fun stuff. You can just search it on YouTube and you’ll get over 1,000 videos.
Or I’d say buy a light reflector. Mine was 15$ and free shipping off of Amazon. Now instead of dolls all dark in the background, I can light up their faces, or make them darker.
11. Yanny or Laurel?
I’m not ‘in the loop’ with that kind of stuff. So let’s do it the scientific way. Eeny meeny miny mo.
The winner is Laurel!!
Thank you so much for this Renya and I am so happy that you nominated me!

And now for our guest:
Hello, world! It’s me again, the best blogger around. Zoey Brianna Yang!!!!!!!!!!!! And my awesome sister Isabelle!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m super stoked that RainFlower8 tagged us to do the sister tag. She even selected me and put me first on the list. Wasn’t that nice?
Anyway, Carlye will ask the questions and Isabelle and I will answer to the best of our abilities. Fire away, Sargent!
Question 1: Which of you are older?
Zoey: Sadly, I can’t be first for everything. Izzy here is older by a couple of years.
Isabelle: ‘Tis true, I’m one of the eldest in the Silverfox clan.
Question 2: What is your favourite thing to do together?
Zoey: Make videos and have water balloon fights.
Isabelle: Can I answer a question now young one?
Zoey: Eat your heart out.
Question 3: What is your sister’s favourite food?
Isabelle: Is it peanut butter or Nutella?
Zoey: Nutella. I would walk across hot coals for that stuff. Is your favourite food… um… spinach?
Isabelle: *laughs* No silly, why in the world would that be my favourite food?
Zoey: Well, you dance like the world is about to end and you are always eating healthy so that was the first healthy thing that came to mind. So what is it?
Isabelle: Cheerios. Honey Nut Cheerios.
Question 4: What is a character trait in your sister that you admire the most?
Isabelle: I think Zoey’s fun loving-ness. She is always up for a joke and can make any bad day into a good one. She can be rude to you, but you can’t help but be happy that she is your sister.
Zoey: That was deep Izzy. You set the bar high. I admire Isabelle’s trait to be organized. She is always organized and knows where everything is. She is on top of her homework and still has time for everything else. How does she do it? Does she have a clone?
Isabelle: That’s not true. I’m not that organized.
Zoey: Where is the phonebook?
Isabelle: In the cabinet next to the… hey!
Zoey: Moving on.
Question 5: What is a character trait in your sister that you least admire?
Zoey: Ohh!! Kill time. Do I have to name them all?
Isabelle: Right here is a prime example of the character trait I don’t like. The way you enjoy ripping into other people’s feelings with reckless abandon without caring about them. You just walk up to Julie-Ann and say to her face, “That shirt makes you look like the sanitation worker’s pet lizard.”
Zoey: I’m slightly offended by the way you dramatized me and my emotions. But at the same time, it’s pretty cool the way you worded it. So, one thing I don’t like about her. Her willingness to lend a helping hand and how you volunteer people to help. Like I was in the middle of a video game, almost finished the level and then Jasmin rolls into the driveway. She needs help with the groceries. Izzy speaks up and says, “Zoey and I will help!” I’m just sitting 2 feet away from her with a puzzled expression on my face.
Question 6: What is one hobby you don’t have in common?
Zoey: I’m training to be a ninja warrior spy, though Izzy tries to kill my dream by proclaiming that they don’t live anymore. I will live in denial for the rest of my life.
Isabelle: Dance. Zoey once tried a jete and sprained her ankle. She was on crutches for a week.
Zoey: And I have never touched ballet shoes ever again.
Question 7: Who keeps the cleaner room?
Zoey: *Looks at Isabelle and laughs nervously*
Zoey: My room looks clean. It’s just under the bed where the mess is. But no one looks under there.
Question 8: What is one easy way to annoy your sister?
Zoey: I got endless ways that I will someday share with all of those suffering sisters. I’d say trash the room if they are neat freaks like Izzy is.
Isabelle: Zoey’s pretty hard to annoy, so I would blast Waltz of the Flowers on loop when I’m gone. I’d hide the phones or speakers in each room so she can’t escape it.
Zoey: That is evil Isabelle. Evil and malicious and I hope you never do that.
Isabelle: Just wait.
Question 9: Describe each other in three words
Zoey: This shall be very hard to do. Does annoying count?
(Carlye steps in and says they have to be positive words)
Zoey: It pains me to say this. Isabelle is humble, smart and loyal
Isabelle: I’d say that you are loyal, easy-going, and carefree
Zoey: You forgot beautiful.
Question 10: Why do you love your sister?
Isabelle: I love Zoey because she is fun-loving and will always be there to cheer you up. She isn’t afraid to be her crazy awesome self, no matter if she’s hanging out with the prime minister at his winter hut or a homeless dude by the dumpster of Wendy’s. She has such a cheerful smile and can brighten up anybody’s day.
Zoey: Thank you, Isabelle that means a lot to me. Umm… I like her as a sister because she is so level-headed and calm. Even when things can get stressful, she’ll be wearing a smile and just plow through it with a cup of tea beside her. She is always there for me and will lend an ear whenever I need it.
Isabelle: And that brings us to the end of this tag! I hope you enjoyed it, see you later!
